Keith, I agree whole-heartedly.
Also, although I do not want innocent Arab-American CITIZENS mistreated, it naive to not understand that the citizens HAVE connected the dots here.
The US has allowed Arabs living in US to send money to the terrorists and openly support them.
Also, the people aren't stupid. We have been told for days that at least 100 others are out there as "sleepers". They are living with their families as "normal" people just WAITINg for their orders.
It has been made politically correct NOT to question the agenda and motives of those who come to this country. It is obvious that they aren't ALL here to live their lives and work and become US citizens. They are here to do us harm.
Anyone who has questioned this (like 10,000 students allowed in during the recent years from the named TERROR states like the Sudan, Lybia, Syria, Iran, Iraq, etc.) Without even a background check.
Or people just arriving in NYC without visas, and after getting their names, etc. they are let loose in the US and told to come back in 6 months for a hearing and nobody ever sees them again. This was happening Dailey in NYC to the tune of thousands a year that nobody from INS ever saw again.
All of this has combined to provide a "failure to protect" our country.
There is nothing Unfair about checking the backgrounds or keeping a close watch on droves of young men coming from countries that have active terrorist cells who have vowed to destroy us. And to REJECT those who are "suspect".
These terrorists came to this country and many came with their families and interacted in the neighborhood. Having gatherings and BBQ's in the neighbor with Americans who bear them no harm. Yet when the call came out, they sent their families back and reported for DUTY to the Jihad. And then perpertrated the largest terror attack in the history of the world.
People, not everybody coming to this country to work and to go to school are here just to go about their business. Some are here to do us harm. And we have NO idea how many there are.
I am not for harming or terrorizing the Arab neighborhoods but it is NOT wrong to closely look at those here working and living in the neighborhoods.
If folks had not been so intimidated (if you complain, you are a racist,etc.) they might have reported the odd behavior of some of the known terrorists who committed this foul act.
