An "American type" could look or sound like anything. But it seems to me that Olsen had the training to give a description of the hijackers that what was more particular than what we've heard. The more I think about it the more it seems to me that she may have given a better description and it just wasn't reported to the media for intelligence reasons. If she did give a description, that may have something to do with the focus on Osama Bin Laden.
There are other indications that Bin Laden was behind this, and whether he was or not we have more than enough justification to go after him and his organization and take them out. When I heard about the World Trade Center attack my first thought was of the almost simultaneous bombings of our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. Those bombing killed and maimed hundreds of people - and our government did nothing about. As far as I was concerned that was an act of war that should have resulted in the military and economic eradication of Bin Laden's entire origination.
