The gloves!! They never could make them fit with any scenario, could they? Never make them fit, period. So many questions instead. Like Dr. Lee: "Why would a rich man like Mr. Simpson keep old worn gloves like that?" Or from O.J. himself, that he used to give away his "working clothes", including gloves, after every football season to his door man in NY. "A door man named Fuhrman", he chuckled (An American Tragedy) Maybe he shouldn't have chuckled but checked out this door man instead.
And Clark, typically, presented gloves ad nauseam at the same rate she presented scenarios. what I cannot figure out is how so many people were fooled by her tactics.
She also never committed to one only version of how O.J. could have lost the right hand glove. Version 1, he jumps over the fence, hits Kato's wall, drops the glove. Version 2, he enters through the gate, dripping blood, runs behind garage, hits Kato's wall, drops the glove. If she picks version 1, she loses the trail of blood in the drive way. Version 2 by itself is just too silly, so Clark "picks both". Same as she did with glove one. Fortunately, the jury listened. Lots of people didn't.
