I still can't figure out the symbolism of releasing the sables to the wild and telling the KGB that they had been already turned to pelts except the lies told. I believe the wiring position of the body of Brian Dennehy<sp> is some sort of symbol. I am unsure if this is the pushing of Nicoles legs under the fence spread as his legs are also spread in that scene. Then the gun in the briefcase and Lee Marvin shoots the man first. This is symbolic of Furhman betraying the Prosecution as I bet he blew the whistle on himself to be able to explain that it was just the screenplay. He has planned that excuse before the murders, not as a scapegoat. So although it fits, it doesn't. Marvin was prepared for the gun in the briefcase so maybe it does. All the snow, even though it was allegedly the USSR, is the Cocaine connected as well as the racist motive. Every motive is in Gorky Park symbolically. I just want to know who the girl who he freed is? Or as I said before, does this represent how O.J. Simpson has allowed himself to be hated so his children and other loved ones might be safe. Maybe the stealing of the Sables was the racism? I need to see the movie again but it is a disturbing movie. Sorry for rambling, my recent loss last Monday has really fogged my brain. So many deaths in the last year and now one more in my family circle only this time it was someone really really close.
