Eagles are part of Astrology also. The Sign of Scopio has 3 parts. The Scopion is the low part, the part that slithers on the ground and stings. then the middle part is the Phonix, that rises out of the ashes, the Phonix is then becomes the Eagle. It is the story of transforming os self from base desires, thru the fire of the Phonix, to the soaring Eagle. in the Nordic myths, Birds were carriers of messages, but also had to do with death, especially on the battle field. these were the Ravens and Crows. This was because they ate the dead bodies.
