Charlie,
O.J. used to work for E!TV. It's a shame how the network abandoned him.
You could be right about the show with O.J. as a uniformed cop being centered around him. The show ran from 1974 to 1978 when O.J. was appearing in lots of shows, but I don't see him listed as a guest on that show in the Internet Movie Database. He is listed as a guest in In the Heat of the Night ('88) and in Dragnet ('67). He was a guest star in "The Big Game" episode of Here's Lucy ('73), The Blackout episode of Cade's county and in The Last Ten Yards episode of Medical Center.
I don't know about Medical Center, but the all the other shows are connected in some way Mark Fuhrman's role in the Bundy murders. I just stumbled on a 1946 movie called The Dark Corner with Lucile Ball, Clifton Webb and Mark Stevens that has a number of interesting links to the case.
It looks like I deleted the work I did on Angie Dickinson to make room for something else. The Smoking Gun was getting too big and I had to take a lot of stuff out to keep the chapters down to 12 -16 pages and to keep from having to add several more chapters. That's why I ended up doing The Smoking Gun 2. The direct O.J. connection means I'm going to have to reconstruct the work I did on Angie Dickinson in Dressed to Kill. I have about two dozen pictures from the movie filed away and a couple of pages of notes. The hard part is going to be trimming all of that down to two or three pictures and paragraphs. Wish me luck. -Jasper
