Sounds to me like you've got the archetype thing well in hand. Only O.J. wouldn't be a god; he'd be a hero. The same rules apply. It's the story of Oedipus, Agamemnon, Thesus, etc. When the hero gets too big, the gods conspire to bring them down, often working through mortals with a grudge, a lust for power or plain old envy to do it. Shakespeare's Othello, MacBeth, and Richard III are all archetypes. So is Mark Fuhrman's O.J. --Jasper
