Jean,

Whatever the Mark of Cain was, it either died out in the great flood that took out everyone on earth except Noah and his family, our it was passed on to his family through marriage. The King James translation of the Bible has so many oblique references to "sin" and "wickedness" that it's hard to tell exactly what they mean. These things are clear about Adam and Eve: They were ashamed of their bodies when they KNEW they were naked AND they knew THEY had done something wrong. Knowledge of being naked, as opposed to being naked, was thing to be ashamed about. You don't get the first hint that sex of any variety is anything to be ashamed of until the SHAMEFUL incident with Ham and Noah. And just what was that incident?

See if you can figure it out:

Noah's sons are listed in this order: Shem, Ham and Japheth. All of them had wives and Ham had a son named Canaan. After the flood when Noah's family were back on solid ground Ham SAW Noah naked in his tent. Not only was he naked, he was literally falling down drunk - passed out cold from drinking too much wine. Ham told his brothers Shem and Japheth what he saw. To make sure they didn't see what he did, they walked backward into the tent with a garment that they covered the old man with (he was 600 years old) without looking at him. Clearly there was something terrible attached to the mere fact that Ham saw his father naked - or was it that he saw him that way and told his brothers - or that didn't cover him - or that he didn't pretend that nothing happened?

Genesis 9.24 says, "And Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his younger son had done to him."

Remember, Canaan is Ham's son, not Noah's… or is he?

25 "And he said, 'Cursed be Canaan. A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.'" Youngest son? Brethren? Was Canaan Noah's grandson? Was he Ham's father? His brother? Or was this a Chinatown sort of thing? And what did Canaan do? Was he a FF or a GFF? Was Ham peeping on father, or did Noah have a meltdown because he got so drunk he passed out where he could be seen without his clothes on? You have to wonder where his wife was or why Noah being naked in his own tent was such a big deal. Naked in a drunken stupor is another thing. Maybe he was just mad because he got caught making a fool of himself

26 "And he said, 'Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.'"

27 "God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem: and Canaan shall be his servant.'"

That's the whole story. If you see black people as the descendants of Ham and yourself as a MF, that has to create some emotional and intellectual conflict. This much we know: Fuhrman hated his father (Ralph) who left his wife (Billie) and his two sons (Mark and Scott) when Mark was seven (wasn't O.J. seven when his father left his mother?). Like Cain, Mark had a brother who died (of leukemia - a blood disease). Whatever Cain did to Able it involved a massive loss of blood that soaked into the soil (Goldman's body was found on the soil). Fuhrman had a life-long fascination with blood. He enjoyed blood sports and he talked a lot about beating people bloody. O.J. Simpson's father (James) was a homosexual. He died of AIDS (a blood disease).

Perhaps there's more, but I think that's plenty--Jasper
