Jean,
Need to make a correction right here. After Adam and Eve had Seth to take Able's place, they had sons AND daughters…But it's not that simple.
You can tell by all the question marks where apostrophes were supposed to be in the posts I made yesterday that I didn't type it from home. That means I had to rely on my memory and I could recall only a long list of males. The Bible says explicitly that Adam and Eve had sons and daughters. It says in Genesis 5.4 "And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters."
What throws you here is the pronoun "he" after the colon instead of Adam or Seth so it's hard to tell whether it was Adam who had the sons and daughters or Seth. If it was Seth, that would make him the MF. There is no reference whatsoever to the woman who bore Seth's children or the woman who bore their children. Each generation starts with a son who has sons and daughters.
As near as I can tell every son of every son in "The Book of the Generations of Adam" could be a MF right down to the three sons of Noah. Ham was the middle son. His name in ancient Hebrew can be interpreted to mean "black." That's where the racist idea comes from that justified slavery. It has to do with something that happened to Noah when he was passed out in his tent from drinking too much. This also looks like the beginning of Judeo-Christian intolerance for homosexuality - all of which could be based on a misreading of the text.
More about that later. -- Jasper
