In all places where there is a power structure and laws, written and unwritten there is a means to get the less powerful to adhere to the law and that is by making an example out of one of the people breaking the law.
In business there may be many people breaking the law of say coming to work late. But they do not have to fire them all, they only need to fire one to get the rest to come in on time. They make an example of them.
In the old south they periodically physically lynched a black man, so none dared to get too close to a white woman.
In the mafia if the local businesses are balking about paying protection, they burn down one of them to get the rest in line.
Condit is a democrate but votes often with the repulicans. He was also almost invincible as he had won every election for 20 years as a democrate in a conservative district.
But Condit had a weakness of being a womanizer. Now they tried already to lynch Clinton for being a womanizer but it did not work. So they needed more.
Jeffords changed sides completely changing the plans that the repulicans had in changing the laws of the country. The repulicans are then faced with lossing control over their people.
But the way to bring back control is by making an example.
The republicans had tried to get Condit to switch parties and it had not worked. He turns out to be the perfect one to use as an example to all the rest that they had lost control over.
No one would ever believe that Condit would ever loose his seat in Congress. It would take a lot to do it. Only his weakness with woman could do it, but it needed to be more.
Now I have heard thru the grapevine that the Levy's including Chandra are die hard repulicans. So Chandra had to disappear.
Now if you have been following the story, you can see how orchastrated it has been. And the orcastration seems to be centered around the parents.
The parents get the story out that she is missing quickly followed by the story that she has made a lot of recent calls to Condit. Followed by that he and Chandra had had an affair.
Condit admits to being friends. His poll numbers hold, so this is followed by a tabliod story about a stewardess that is his mistress. Followed by, I don't want to do this but, I'm doing it to find Chandra and the stewardess goes on the big TV tour with an hour of Larry King and wall to wall Fox coverage. His poll numbers are still holding.
So along come the aunt with new information that Chandra told about the affair and how secrative Condit made her be and that he did not want his gals to carry identification. And Chandra had left her's behind and the nation said a collective AH HA. His poll numbers beging to slip.
About this time his former driver who he had fired comes out to say that yes he knows the stewardess and how he had lied for Condit. He would never break his loyalty to Condit, but he is doing it to help find Chandra.
Then we have a black minister who just happened to be sitting talking to mama Livy about their daughters when he is doing their yard work in mid April and he confesses that his black daughter had an affair with Condit that ended badly about the time that she had the mixed race baby. Nothing like a mixed race baby to spoil your poll numbers in a conservative town.
But the daughter of the baby will not go along with the lie and spoiled the fun. Now she, the father and the FBI say he lied about what he said, but the Levy's say it was true and he had been put pressure on and was afraid and recanted. Even adding that they had told Chandra in April that Condit was not a nice person.
Then we have the story that Condit drove across the bridge to another state and thew a watch "case" in the trash. Then the watch giver comes forward, to help find Chandra, who just happens to have been his employee this time. A bit worse as this gets into employee, employer relation.
Now the watch "case" which was supposed to be engraved with swett nothings, floats out there for several days. something that you could just put in your pocket if you wanted to hide it from the apt. searchers. So like magic the watch "case" became a great big watch "box". Pictures were shown on TV and it sure could not be put in a pocket. Then we find that the watch person had told the police about the box a long time ago in May about their affair and how she had given him a watch.
Doesn't anyone think it is strange that she tells the police that she gave him a watch and he seems to have had the box all this time and decides that it must be gotten rid of in this secretive way. But the dirver says that they were just thowing away garbage to keep it away from the press. So you have the press and I would think if I were in this position,the FBI following you around and you do this incriminating thing. Something is just wrong. Have they dirven him nuts or did someone suggest or push him into it.
His numbers have sunk but still a slim chance that he might just sweek another term, even thought by now people are hinting or flat out calling him a murderer. Especially the same pundents that lynched OJ and tried to lynch Clinton.
So again the tabloids go to press with two new stories, preceded by a teaser in Drudge. One of which was that there is a 5 minute call from Mrs. Condit to Mr. Condits apt. when he was not there. So of course this was a show down of the wife and girlfriend. Will if the girlfriend tells the wife, then she must be gotten rid of for sure.
The second story involves rape of 15 year olds who worked in his office in Calif. Seems that they were so scared that they fled to Alaska. And just happened to tell a counselor in Alaska, who of course is paid a really good sum to spill her guts to the tabloid. They got him now for sure. Of couse all evidence that this story is true was stolen right out of the files. Shades of the counselors in the OJ case.
So every Congressman on the hill now has reason to fear that if they step out of line, they will be Condited. And few of them have the loyalty of Condits constiuate. It would only take a little bit of what they did to Condit to mess up their next election. Just a hint of an affair or homosexual or kinky sex would do the job.
And it may have already happened. Condits best friend on the hill is the one who has come out to really call for his resignation.
And still not a word on TV about the Fla. Congressman's aid of 28 dropping dead during the night in his Fla. office. The same Congressman who is very young and from a very conservative area. no problem winning again, resigned for "family" reasons after the rumour that he had a young aid who was preganate.
And not a word about the Mayor in Conn. whose office and home were searched by the FBI for some kind of corruption and then was immediately arrested for being a pedofile, with a child of 9 and one of 12, so far. Not a word.
Now that I think about it how much was OJ an example to other Black guys. They got Sharpton and Jessie Jackson plus all those athelits who it seems are a constant stream of being arrested for something, many on suspecian of murder.
Now it is hard to know if the plot was started before Chandra went missing or after and just took advantage of the situation. But it is a lynching that has been orchastrated from the git go.
I am waiting for Fuhrman and the other idiot author to annonunce their Condit books.
