I think if the person there was Brambles, given the deal he got, he would've found a way to say so by now. Saying so wouldn't hurt him any and it would be a means for him to expose the persons who put him in prison.
Fuhrman is better candidate. People claiming that he couldn't have picked up the glove at Bundy to plant at Rockingham claimed he couldn't have because he wasn't wearing a jacket that night. Later, he did have a jacket.
There was some discussion about the matter of the jacket between Marcia Clark and someone else early on.
