I agree and I would go further. If Fuhrman and Roberts were "around' later for Kato and others to see and interact with and actually Stressed the impression of "misremembered or vague" recollections, it would have greatly.
The person is shocked or stunned. They are being questioned and flashlights being shown into their eyes. Not being told what is going on or what is wrong.
How did Vannatter Lange "explain" the finding of the glove in the GJ--did they give a really shortcut version. Was Fuhrman referred to at all even without a name? Or did he just say "one of the detectives" found it?
I believe there is a good chance that Fuhrman testified to things that Roberts or somebody else did and they just "morphed" the story for their Good Man on the Stand to tell it.
