When the defence were at Bundy they found another blue knitcap and Shapiro asked for it to be collected. Nobody did and Shapiro complained about it in a sidebar. It's in the transcripts.
Also, there were two reddish brown caucasian hairs in the knitcap (Kestler testimony, Prelims).
