The temperature is important in regards to evidence, and dewpoint. I am not saying they wore gloves because it was cold. With the humidity from the Ocean proximity it can cause the heavy air where it seems really quiet and heavy. It causes a surreal atmosphere. This is what is so amazing. Everything from the old black and what murders mystery's of the thirties and forties was true about the Bundy murders, even down to the corrupt LAPD. I have seen this bizarre fogmist that is invisable at night but in the morning you cannot see ten feet. I don't know what causes it but I saw it years ago in Penngrove. Penngrove has Spring and Fall like LA Winters. That early summer it had an average of about 75 although it had two to four seperated days of 95-101. But there was this switch with LA that June also where we had their humid sticky hot form of hot and they had the breezy drier colder weather. Fortunately it staid around 75 the entire month. Part of the surprise that the police didn't get the coroner out there and get the body's refrigerated. Stop the strange weather from doing it's damage. Instead they play wait and see and then quick clean up. Something so suspiscious about it.
