Frankly, I have always believed shively to be a liar about the incident.
Aside from ther things, it just doesn't "ring true". Here is a person who sees an easily identifiable celebrity driving like a madman, and dangerously, take down his license number, and then..... well, does she call 911 at the earliest opportunity? No. She goes and buys and eats a salad.
What kind of person takes down a license number for a non-accident? Wagner had the nerve to suggest that she did this kind of thing as some kind of hobby. Too bad it was Wagner that said this in 1998 instead of Shively in 1994
