Funny you should mention that actor mode or the mode where he is 'making a mountain out of a mole hill"--making something ordinary appear to be very important.
In last night's 48 Hours --which was painful to watch--several time he and that Mike Fitzsimmons (radio guy) "found" some bit of clue. They built it up on the radio, interviewed people, and just plain carried on about it to the extreme. In the long run, each and every thing turned out to be not important or not involve the killer--by they said it "could have been" so therefore, they got to trash the cops.
In all the cases like that, he got into an almost hyperventalatiing excitement over it--only for it to be found to be not important.
He also has a tendency to make "huge leaps of logic" in areas such as that.
He blows things up way out of porportion. Recall the finding of the bubble gum a long time after the murders and he was talking doing teeth prints from the gum? He carried on about that not knowing whether OJ was a gum chewer at all. You know, there are some people who do not chew gum at all!
You know, even if MF had not been involved in the OJ case, etc., he would be a very hard person to be around. It is all about HIM> It is "I', "I", "I" every breath that he takes. And 90% of the time that is followed by trashing somebody else to build himself up.
He is totally ego driven. To a dangerous extreme.
