When Marcia Clark reamed her in front of the Grand jury and called her a liar why didn't Jill Shively tell her how she only said what Marica Clark told her to say as she was still sitting in the room when Marcia Clark demeaned her that way. The Grand Jury was asked if they wished to ask her any questions before Marcia's tyraid against her in Grand Jury, they didn't have any questions for her as ability to tell the truth under oath had been destroyed. I believe she could have made a last statement before leaving and easily could have stated that it was Marcia Clark who told her to LIE to the Grand Jury. She could have then stated that she left earlier than she stated because Marcia wished her to change her testimony, she could have blamed Marcia for all of it by just saying she had told her about Hard Copy. She did none of that. She didn't defend herself in the Grand Jury. She just left. I feel that when I am telling the truth and someone talk about me the way Marcia Clark did I would have asked to make a statement in the Grand Jury and told them exactly why I lied, throw myself on their mercy and ask to be a witness to testify against the officer of the Court, Marcia Clark, for making me lie. Jill Shively was not a young girl who was just scared. She is a grown woman who had the ability to stand up for herself. I was scared myself when the FBI guy showed up at my house to ask me about seeing and overhearing something but he couldn't make me lie about something that wasn't true, he couldn't force me to change my testimony to suit what he wished to believe. Of course I am not Jill Shively, but once you lie in court, whether Preliminary Hearing or Grand Jury or a trial, or just a deposition, you have lied under oath. You are from that day forward a person who must worry because you lied under oath and it can come back to bite you at any time. Blaming Marica Clark for Jill Shively lying about the time is not acceptable. Why would Marcia Clark ask her to lie about the time and then want her out of the case because her time doesn't fit??? Explain that to me and maybe sense can be made of Jill Shively. I cannot concieve of the explanation but at least I give the chance for explanation.
