I have been fol, wong the 'Bodziak' thread today and can't help but think you guys are missing a couple of point.
First, it was Bodziak himself who first made the big deal about the BM's being so rare and mentioning that they hadn't been sold in the US for two years before the murders and admitting without protest that the shoes were in brand new condition.
Now, assuming for sake of argument that the police wanted to fram OJ, what the hell were they doing selecting this rare brand of shoe that hadn't even been sold in the US in two years. So as to make it easier to connect them to OJ? But that's just the point you are missing: They did NOT manage to make that connection. Now, these hypothetical conspirators would have absolute control over the evidence they chose to plant. Why not choose a pair of shoes they were absolutely sure beforehand they could connect to OJ? And why select this really weird brand of very rare and expensive shoe?
How about this theory instead: I have shown beyond reasonable doubt that Kaelin had free access to the main house when everyone else there was absent (which would have been fairly frequently, especially on Sundays). OJ almost certainly did not bother to lock his bedroom door -- why should he? So Kaelin goes into OJ's closet looking for something he could use to frame OJ with. Now, he can't pick out something that Oj would miss, and he can't pick out something so common -- like Reeebok's -- that could belong to anybody. Aha! Look at this! A really weird pair of foreign shoes tossed way in the back of the closet and forgotten. Perfect!
