Now we all have a dark side, called the shadow or animal side that is not civilized. but most of us control this side. The trouble comes when we try to hide it from ourselves, as a lot of religious fanatics do, project it out to others, or just don't control it at all, and let it take over our lives as a serial murderer. ------------------------------------ Now this is very telling and goes with what Jasper has said about the Clarance Thomases. ---------------------------------- He killed a thousand gypsies and said they were the sub species of the human race and therefore unworthy of life. But he spared the German gypsies. Now Mengele had gypsy features, tawney skin, dark hair and eyes, not the blond blue eyes of the Aryan race. It was said that he had a psycological need to PURGE THE WORLD OF THOSE THINGS WHICH HE HATED ABOUT HIS OWN SELF. ---------------------------------------------- He said that there were 2 gifted people in the world, the Germans and the jews. It was said that he had a sexual longing for forbidden women. (How about capital punishment, how many judges, etc are in to the power)(even the jury members) ------------------------------------ (would having the power to control others life or death give the illusion of being able to control ones own, or would they take on the essense of god) ------------------------------- He had always have had a deep seated ambitions to achieve greatness and was driven from an early age to distinguesh himself as an adult. Even telling school mates that they would read about him in the encylopedia. ----------------- He called about the principle of "doubling" that doctors must have to work in the camps. Division of oneself into 2 functioing wholes. the killing self in the camps--- and the prior humane ethecal training as a doctor and the husband and father. ----------------------- It is said that he needed to weield control over life itself. ---------------- At first after the war, he went back to his roots and hid out in the town he was born in for 2 years, till it got to hot and he escaped to S. America. He lived till 1979.
