Even with all the tricks that had been played on him by Media and police, O.J. Simpson was playing Being Oblivios to the changes of the people around him. As has been said by so many, He expects people to like him. It has always been so, and his brain cannot grasp that people have turned their adoration to bringing him down. He isn't used to not being believed. It must have taken him years to figure out that indeed he was falling into trap after trap. The talk at Oxford and a few others non media were the best things he's done.
