When I seen Obama give his victory speech, and even more so after Byden and all of the family was on stage, I was really in tears of joy. I hope and pray that "CHANGE", as Obama has been saying all along, will last beyond his victory. It’s up to ALL people to BE AS ONE, not ONE person to be ALL! GOD SPEED.” ................The sum of what you and Bobsnhawaii said reminded me of the sum of what McCain and Obama said. It took both of them to deliver the full message that Americans needed to hear. Great Stuff. ................ The only thing I would add to my observations and feelings about the election was Obama’s realistic assessment of what comes next – chiefly that he wasn’t going to screw up from time to time and it was up to all of us to what we can to get things right. That’s what we do (screw up from time to time) and try to do (get it right) on this site. It’s wonderful to see that we have reached a point in American History where that idea is being taken seriously at the highest levels of government. I don’t know how that could be said more succinctly than Bobsnhawaii did with these word, “It’s up to ALL people to BE AS ONE, not ONE person to be ALL!” .............Better stop now before tears start streaming down my cheeks. I have never been more proud to be an American – and a Smartfellow. –Jasper
