Observer---I have been very honest about my feelings about this case. I think both men have the same goal, trying to right a miscarriage of justice by doing alot of tedious research and laying their guts on the line with every post they make. I have a question for you, if tomorrow a video tape of MF committing the murders, do you think that it would totally suck for Prien or others who may believe that MF is not the killer? What if a video tape showing another member of the LAPD committing the murder, do you think Jasper would just sulk and pout that he was wrong? That he would get no satisfaction from all the work he (and others) put into his book and this website? While I believe Jasper and others firmly believe they have solve this case, that does not mean they have tunnel vision only for their way of thinking. To think that anyone who has firm beliefs would rather sulk and pout because "their guy or guys" didn't do it, is just plan ignorant. To say that people are so dug in that they can't learn something from people who disagree with them, is again ignorant. The bottom line is the serious posters on this thread all believe in the basic premis of this board---that a serious miscarriage of justice has been comitted against the American people and have different theories or ways of trying to prove how this was carried off. IMO, the LAPD knows OJ Simpson didn't kill them but rather than change the course of their investigation, they committed one crime after another to convict a man, at least in the court of public opinion. I believe evidence was tested and the results of those tests didn't point to Simpson so they trashed them or "lost" them.
