The story behind the gloves is that Bailey apparently questioned Dardin's manhood basically saying he didn't have the balls to get OJ to try on the gloves. The latex likely would interfere with getting the gloves on, as hospital workers know what its like to make a bed with latex gloves on- there is plenty of friction and resistance. The gloves could've fit VanAtter or anyone- it was more a demo for the dimwit public because look at the big deal made of it on tv " If the glove don't fit, it don't mean shit" The jurors knew it was basically meaningless which is another important point- the jurors knew the actual evidence in the case better than anyone watching it on television. The general public, I hate to say this but it is true, was lead to believe the jurors were stupid, irresponsible black people without decent character who let OJ go because he was one of their own, when in reality they tended to be honest, ethical, committed, objective, knowledgeable, thoughtful, serious, fair minded, realistic. They can talk about Fuhrman's racism all they want when people like Jeffery Toobin and such display their awful racism, perhaps unconsciously, ignorantly projecting atrocious racial stereotypes upon the jury, when in fact its the people like Toobin that are the immoral, irresponsible, reckless, stupid, ignorant racist idiots that know very little about the case. The jury got it right.
