I just re-read Kato's "non-book". If the author, Marc Eliot is being truthful regarding the tapes of their conversations, than there is some interesting stuff. According to Kato, MF asked him when Arnelle got home and how did he know what time she got home. He told him that he heard her shoe clicks about 1:30 a.m.. Also, Kato does not think he ever told MF about the thumps. He doesn't remember telling MF. His first memory is that he told Vanatter once he was inside the house. However, it appears to me, if you read his testimony, when he talks about the thumps with Vanatter, he is asking PV about the thumps and if they meant anything. PV tells him in the book, they mean nothing, or he shakes his head no but in the testimony, it went to shrugging his shoulders. IMO, I think PV knew there was no glove back there but when MF said he "found" it, PV knew then he had a mess on his hands.
