jasper, there is a simple reaason why the Browns would have known very well about when they reached home. It has to do with when sunset and twilight occur, and when it gets completely dark. Had they left the Merzz at the earlier time, then most of their drive home would have been still in sunlight or twilight, and very little of it would have been after it got completely dark. Had they left at the later time and gotten home by 11, then most of the driving would have occurred after twilight. It is precisely because most of the driving must have occurred after twilight that prompted Juditha to tell Shpairo she knew when she called because she checked the kitchen closk to make sure she weas not calling too late. She never would have been prompted to worry about that had she arrived home by 9:37. she would inly have been prompted to do that if they arrived home around 11 pm. So they were not merely relying on memory when they specified the time of the call to Shapiro, to the Jenners, and to Ratcliffe, among others. prien
