Rudy— O.J.’s blood was not planted on Bundy or Rockingham by anyone. All the killer had to do in the first instance was plant the IDEA that the killer, either O.J. or a hitman acting for him, MIGHT HAVE left a trail of his own blood on Bundy. During the actual killing time the conspirators could not have known with life or death certainty whether or not O.J. had an alibi that could not be called into question. All the Bundy blood drops had to be until they were testing in the lab (after the samples were switched) was red. .................................................................................................................Their window of opportunity on the real timeline was only fifteen minutes or so (three or four minutes to commit the murders, stage a protracted fight and plant the Bundy evidence plus a 12 minute round-trip travel time). They also had to widen the appearance of a timeline on both ends for maximum flexibility in case O.J. interacted with someone during the actual timeline. If he did, they still had to option of proceeding with a hitman scenario. “Flexibility is the operative word for everything associated with the blood evidence as well as the timeline. ........................................................................................................................... Fuhrman, the active killer and Roberts his Bundy lookout were heavily reliant on up-to-the-minute reports from the Rockingham lookout (Ron Shipp) for anything O.J. did to affect whether they would go with a personal or a hitman frame-up. The evidence they had to plant of a rage kill (personal) complicated the evidence they had to plant of a proxy killer unless he, too, had a close personal relationship with one of the victims. Ron Shipp was the perfect fall guy because of his physical characteristics and the case that could be made for him being jealous of O.J., obsessed with Nicole who rejected him and his lack of an alibi. ........................................................................................................................... The hitman scenario with Shipp had its own internal flexibility. It could be easily molded to fit a scenario in which he simply followed O.J.’s orders to kill Nicole (with Ron Goldman as an incidental victim) or one in which he double-crossed O.J. and framed him. The shoeprints WALKING away from the courtyard works well with a hitman double-cross. How you read those shoeprints depend entirely upon whether you characterize them as showing the killer “running” or “walking” way regardless of the objective evidence. .................................................................................................................... Some of the O.J. blood evidence on Rockingham worked for him in that the blood drops without EDTA traced the moves he said he made between his front door and the Bronco before and after the murders. They were present before Vannatter went back to Rockingham with the blood vials. All of that blood was loaded with EDTA. The blood drops that ROBERTS was marking when Fung arrived were not documented. One of the first things Fung did on Rockingham was pick up Roberts’ markers and put down his own. .............................................................................................................To me, that’s a strong indicator that the plan went terribly wrong with O.J.’s cut finger and the conspirators had to improvise to spin it in the best way possible under the circumstances. –Jasper
