Sweetpea— Some of us read the article you posted a few months ago. As you know, I do not dismiss out of hand claims of psychic insights in general. I have no faith in this Avery guy for many reasons but I have no doubt that Fuhrman takes extra sensory abilities seriously. ........................................................................................................................A character that comes up repeatedly in Fuhrman’s stories taken from movies is a psychic http://www.smartfellowspress.com/smokinggun/Smoke_3/smoke_3_chap_28.htm . I didn’t look for a psychic theme when I first started following his movie connections anymore that I looked for rain, trains or ghosts. I found all of them in superabundance while following other links to Fuhrman, like the “killer writing his name in blood (Jack the Ripper ’88) and O.J.’ alleged split personality http://www.smartfellowspress.com/smokinggun/Mirror-c03.html (Eyes of Laura Mars) http://www.smartfellowspress.com/smokinggun/Eyes_06.html ....................................................................................................................... To me, a salient feature of the Bundy murders is its resistance to psych investigation. A true psychic could “see the killer” on the murder scene without being able identify him as Fuhrman for three good reasons. 1) Fuhrman made himself “psychic-proof” by putting himself everywhere O.J. was supposed to have been in his investigation. 2) His “white knight” story that he disseminated in which he felt guilty for Nicole’s murder because he failed to protect her from O.J. 3) His own incriminating psychological characteristics that he, Ron Shipp, Denise Brown and Faye Resnick successfully ascribed to O.J. .......................................................................................................................A psychic could have picked up all those things with no way of knowing what they meant apart from doing the kind of conventional research that many of us tried to do on the Iago Board. ....................................................................................................................Given O.J.’s role as an LAPD homicide detective in The Naked Gun series and CIA Code Name: Alexa, plus the fragmented nature of psychic impressions, it would be very difficult for a true Psychic to separate O.J. from Fuhrman. I asked myself all throughout O.J.’s murder trial why no psychic with a good track record in helping police solve murders stepped forward to say ANYTHING about the Bundy murders. The answer I got was what I saw before I discovered that O.J. could not have done what the evidence said he did. I got many reasons to see O.J. as the killer and few reasons to consider anyone else as a reasonable suspect. –Jasper
