While I don't believe my random speculation, the exercise in making and testing the speculation itself was helpful and informative. I saw how easy it was to string some ideas together into a possible scenario that appears to answer some unanswered questions in the trial. I saw how when you really investigated it, you could see the scenario fall apart with the information you did have about the blood drops, the evidence collected and lack of corroboration of an injury to a child that night. There were some aspects I have filed away for further research. There was some information I found out there that was just plain wrong like a CNN site that indicated Rachel was 13 years old, which would have changed a lot of things. It also seem that there were no more posters willing to explore new ideas. Do people really think we have learned all we can about the Bundy murders? Have people lost interest now that OJ has been convicted and is in prison? Some may think it is a waste of time to try to get your mind to see where your assumptions are; I think it is a necessary aspect of thinking. In the end Jasper, both of us learned something from this random speculation and maybe there are some people still reading that did so also.
