McClinton said he was 49 when he was arrested in September, 2007. His birthday, according to O.J.’s arrest report (our only source for his date of birth), was January 29, 1954. If the 1954 year is right, he is now 55 years old. If the arrest report is right, he’s now 51. Both can’t be right. Somewhere there are four years unaccounted for in McClinton’s history. The question is whether those years can be found in an innocent arrest report error or a deliberate attempt to hide four yours of Michael McClinton’s life. ................. The reason you see so much in High Points on the symbolism of McClinton’s testimony, the practical effects of what he did in the Palace Station and the implications of his assumed name “Randall Spencer,” is because we haven’t been able to get anything else. Every attempt to research his background ends in question marks. We don’t even know if Michal McClinton is his real name. ................... We do know that he is not the ignorant, out-of-control street thug he presented himself to be in the hotel room. The only thing that kept him from looking like a college professor in the preliminary hearing was his diamond earrings. But when you study his calm demeanor under considerable stress, his command of the language (his precise choice of word and ability to speak comfortably with or without an ethnic dialect) and the traceable implications of his nickname, you get something else. You get a highly intelligent and persuasive speaker, a very cool customer and a master of manipulation. .................... When I first saw the Palace station video of O.J. coming into the Palace Station Casino and meeting with the other men to go up to Riccio’s hotel room, one man stood out as the guy in charge simply by the way he carried himself. He was the guy in the purple suit, Michael “Spencer” McClinton. His bearing reminded me of Brad Roberts, who reminded me of the guy in every group I’ve ever seen where I could spot the guy in charge on sight every time. He’s always the one your eyes go to and stay on because of the “little” moves he makes that make big waves. .................... I believe, for many interlocking reasons, that Michal “Spencer” McClinton is a killer for hire and that Fuhrman, Roberts and key members of the Las Vegas Metro Police have done business with him going back at least as far as 1992. How far can you go in finding the evidence that would show whether or not this is true if four years of McClinton’s life in the public record have really been erased? –Jasper
