NF, you're a smart guy, maybe you can help get this one nailed down. It is the most obvious part of the case hiding right out there in plain site, it sounds simple and stupid to go over it repeatedly but I sense there is something to the thumps/Rockingham glove that has been overlooked. Not enough attention, I feel, has been given to the thumps but I do sense it could help solve the case or at least be one of the best examples that the frame-up and murder are all part of the same premeditated scheme. No doubt Jasper has easily figured this one out, but there may be more to it, the way there is always more territory to explore in detail with an obvious big huge elephant in the room. First, the thumps indicate a calculated premeditation,(as does planting a bloody glove, only a fool or someone who already knew who the murderer was would do this). Those thumps were likely made for the purpose of getting the police to go back behind Kato's guesthouse, because LATER that evening the police would be at Rockingham, doing a search investigating a murder that was going to take place on Bundy Drive around the time when the thumps were made. The police would of course be asking the people at Rockingham if they HEARD anything unusual, just a normal police question totally reasonable. Of course Kato would excitedly tell the police all about the loud thumps that definitely startled him. This would give probable cause for Fuhrman to search that secluded, predetermined area and find the glove all according to the plan to turn Rockingham into a crime scene. ++++++++++The prosecution linked the exceptionally loud thumps, to the bloody glove to the murder scene to the murderer. Simple, A+B+C+D= guilty . However the same formula: thumps plus bloody glove plus the person who "found" the glove= the murderer, doesn't really hold water; it seems almost impossible to prove even though it is far far closer to the truth than the lie that OJ made the thumps while dropping the glove. There are several reasonable as well as unreasonable explanations for how the glove got there.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The defense, since they didn't have to solve the crime, never had to explain the thumps in court and no reasonable explanation was ever given for the thumps by the defense but I do remember Johnnie Cochran calling the thumps more of a signal, (whatever that means he didn't say). In his close, JC did mention Fuhrman finding the glove in the" thump thump thump area behind Kato's". Its hard for me to believe that the Dream Team and OJ didn't connect the dots linking the premeditated thumps at Rockingham to premeditated murder on Bundy that was about to occur, it seems obvious they had to figure it out, and they would've linked the thumps to Fuhrman, to Fuhrman planting the glove in the area where he thumps were made linking Rockingham to a murder scene on Bundy Drive all as a result of the thumps that happened potentially before the murders had even taken place! Yes its obvious and seems stupid to continually go over and over the scenario but I sense there must be something more right there hiding in the open. The truth is the glove got to the the thump area at Rockingham somehow- most likely deliberately to be coordinated with the exact spot where the thumps were heard in order to frame OJ Simpson for the murders that were committed by someone wearing THAT very same glove- the murderer KNEW the reason's for the thumps, that one of thee most important pieces of evidence would eventually be found in that very spot- there had to be no doubt about the validity of the evidence that would connect Rockingham with Bundy, turning Rockingham into a crime scene. The instigator of the thumps was most likely someone who had advanced knowledge the police would be at Rockingham later that evening searching the property because they KNEW OJs ex-wife was about to be murdered. Sure anyone could have made those thumps or have been directed to make those thumps, Japer believes Ron Shipp under Fuhrman's direction was asked to make the thumps but there is no proof either way. OJ must've thought about the relationship between the thumps and the glove, he had to think all about how he was set up and by who and why. The only time I've seen OJ get angry is when Fuhrman enters the court to take the fifth- OJ looks like he's saying just give me 2 minutes alone with this guy.
