Jasper, Yes I know about the Scout I used to own two of them. What I missed was Heidstra's telling description. Out of curiosity and to reminisce I checked out the Scout online. There is a Scout called a Scout Traveller made in 1980 and it looks exactly like a Scout except it appears a bit elongated, like a Jeep Wagoneer crossed with a Blazer more than just the more compact Scout 2. In 1994 Scouts seemed to have disappeared however they are still popular with enthusiasts in warm climates. There is a Scout rally in Death Valley every year. Interesting, I just read Heidstra's testimony and he says Jeep wagon car- he repeatedly says, "wagon car".
