There's something not so right with that cop. He did come forward eventually. I remember reading about him in a side bar, name and all. He had not been paying attention to the trial and so it took him months to realize he was the cop they were talking about. I find that hard to believe. Couple that with the fact that Clark was hiding Schwab from the Grand Jury.
And don't patrol men always travel in pairs?
