I can't access it all with webtv but I read what I could of it, and Karpf says nothing about slamming a gate. He says he stepped back behind the gate. That is all.
And why wouldn't he say so if he did?
And don't forget that TWO voices were heard by Heistra at the same time.
I don't believe Karpf or Schwab to tell you the truth of the matter.
Karpf has Stein asleep til he goes up and she has herself awake and downstairs til after 12.
As I mentioned in an earlier email before I went back and read the testimony again, that what she said was virtually ignored in favor of his story.
What about what happened was he trying to hide?
I don't much believe his less than a 1/2 hr from the airport story either. I have taken people to the airport here (a smallish airport right off the road) and I have picked up people from the airport. The distance away from home is less than what his was and it has taken me every bit of 20 minutes or longer to make only the drive and nothing else. LAX is further away and is more complicated to get in and out of.
If the dog walker is not Schwab, then who is it? Is this another witness lost by the "keeper of the list"? charlie
