At this link is the information. Nigg was killed Sept 1995 during the defense's case and although it doesn't show that he was to be a witness, it shows his death as being during the Defense's case. He could have laid the foundation for Christian Reichard to have testified why he was so afraid that he was sleeping with a gun under his pillow. He knew things that they didn't want him to testify about.
