you brought up some interesting points. the blood drops could have dried before anyone stepped on them that could be the explanation. i guess they were trying to say oj cut his finger at the crime scene however witnesses at the airport said no injury to his hand. i believe the drops were planted if there were really any blood drops at all. were the blooddrops tested? if not, maybe fake blood like in the movies.
