Now lets give a hard look at how it was supposed to go down according to the book. All of a sudden some stranger named Charlie shows up at OJ's and says Nicole did a bad thing. So OJ who is getting ready to go on a plane jumps in his car and takes off to Nicoles. Takes a knife and stabs them with his arthritic knees and Charlie just stands by then gets back in the car with OJ and gets rid of the knife and clothes. Not good enough for fiction from start to finish. It defies human nature. Charlie would have run or fought OJ, depending on how strong he was. Probably run. And what about the prosecution case, it sure throws that out the window. And Charlie melts back into the woodwork from which he came.
