Great find, Jasper! The whole article is very interesting. But I found this part even more so: ------ "The couple, who have two sons, left their Santa Monica home after the 1993 bankruptcy filing to take up posts as professors at the North Carolina School of the Arts. "It's the first time in our lives we've had steady paychecks," Daniel McKinny said. "If this happened two years ago (money) would probably be an issue," he added. "But fortunately, we're not in that situation now. We really aren't financially strapped. So we have no pressure to sell those tapes and transcripts if we don't want to." Still, their lawyer recently tried to sell the transcripts to Dove Books for $500,000, publisher Michael Viner said. Viner, who has published several books related to the Simpson trial, turned them down, explaining: "It didn't even pass the smell test as being anything close to literature." ------------- Wow! Positions as Professors for BOTH of them, and the timing! Is that "luck", or what! It's nice to know that they weren't/ aren't "financially strapped" at such a crucial time! However, I would like to read a book written by her honestly based on her experiences and realtionship with Fuhrman, the LAPD, the tapes, and her accounts of Fuhrman and others in the LAPD. .... According to the article, there really was a group "Men Against Women". I believe that. .... I wish she would write an honest and complete account of all the above. ...... As for Michael Viner, he actually has the gall to make te comments he did about "not passing the smell test"!!! ... Please! I think he would have published the transcripts in a heartbeat, but knew better than to do so! I wonder how well he knew Fuhrman & Co.? .......... Solitairea1
