Rovaan, …At first I thought that you might be right. Then I took another look at Bill’s notes and put them together with the information he gave Joseph Bosco to convince him that his Kardashian story was true. Now I’m having even greater doubts about the “anonymous” attorney’s latest story than I had in the first place. ….……. The lawyer’s name is John Stewart. He was a lawyer when he first met with Bill Wasz but he falsely represented himself and Bill’s lawyer. He wasn’t. ….……..From Joseph Bosco’s L.A. Confidential meets the Bad Lieutenant: … “On July 12 [1994], John Stewart, a San Diego attorney, met with Wasz in jail and go him to sign a contingency for fee contract of the sale of Wasz’s story and notebook to the tabloid, print and TV. ‘He called me,’ Stewart recently said. ‘I used to be a nationally syndicated radio broadcaster and had a lot of media experience and one of the other guys in the Orange County Jail knew that. Wasz told him something and he said, ‘this is the guy to get.’” …… “’The idea was that here’s a guy connected to the case that had a story everybody wanted,’ Stewart explained. ‘And he figured I’m going down for a long time, might as well have some money for what I’m been through and what I know.’” …… “On July 12, Stewart presented himself to Newport Beach Department as Wasz’s new defense attorney and asked for his personal effects. He was given mostly dirty clothes and a small notebook. On July 19, CNN contacted the Newport Beach Police. They said they had a source who said that a notebook likely belonging to Nicole Brown Simpson had been turned over to the LAPD. On July 20, the Newport Beach Police put out a press release; they also started looking into what Stewart was really up to when he came to get Wasz’s personal property. On July 22, the Orange County Register announced that the Newport Beach Police were ‘looking into allegations that John Stewart…tried to sell the notebook to various news-media organization and misrepresented himself as an attorney for William Wasz.’ On July 24, the story ran in the Orange County edition of the Los Angeles Times. CNN had already done two segments with Wasz. /////// ………..”Feeling the heat from the NBPD investigation, John Stewart went up to Los Angeles and gave the notebook to LAPD Detective Richard Crotsley [Det. Ron Ito’s partner] of Robbery/Homicide Davison on July 18 – the day before CNN’s sources had leaked that information to all the news networks. He was essentially covering his ass, saying that he ‘turned it over as soon as he learned that it might be evidence in the Simpson murders.’” ……………So, here is July, 1994’s Mr. Opportunist, Misrepresentation Cover-your-ass Stewart sending an “anonymous” e-mail to Joseph Bosco about Bill Wasz’s notebook in January 2007. Why should we believe anything He says that can’ be independently verified? I want to know what HE wants out of his exchange with Bosco, why he thought he could get it or why he thought he had to try. –Jasper
