…Thanks to O.J. Nut and Rovaan we are finally able to narrow down what happened, where it happened and who was involved in the O.J. handcuffing incident on the 13th. ……… Rovaan sent me a tape shown during Officer Don Thompson’s criminal trial testimony that supplements the one from Dianne Sawyer’s 20/20 Fuhrman interview. The quality of the trial tape is not the best. However, if you follow Thompson’s testimony along with the video you can see that O.J. Nut was right about where Thompson handcuffed O.J. – in the playhouse area. ………. This means that Vannatter did not see O.J. on the lawn in front of the main door already in handcuffs with Roberts holding his bag. It does not mean Vannatter lied, only that he got it wrong. From Thompson’s point of view Vannatter and Roberts approached him together as he was ABOUT to handcuff O.J. The video shows Vannatter reaching Thompson and O.J. first with a very quick shot of Roberts going to O.J.’s left side (where the bag was) with O.J. standing between him and the camera. ……….Prior to that clip of O.J. Thompson and Roberts in the playhouse area you can see when and where Thompson’s partner Angela Guzman turned around to go back toward the Rockingham gate. It happens suddenly while Thompson is taking to O.J. at the rear of Arnelle’s Saab. She whirls and strides back toward the gate in one motion yelling something at someone in front of her. The camera tilts up to the sky and the clip resumes with O.J. and Thomson next to the playhouse just before Vannatter and Roberts arrive. ………. I will be spending the next few days modifying the Rockingham Hook-up animation to reflect the new information. I should have it up sometime this weekend. ……… Wish me luck. –Jasper
