Solitairea1, …… This Eric sounds like a high school kid. It seems to me that the Eric on the answering machine was a lot closer to Ron than someone he knew through his 14 of 15-year-old step-brother.(got his age from Kim’s Feb 5, 1996 civil trial deposition ). ……..Here is the breakdown of Ron’s morning activities according a 2004 E! TV repeat of a program (not sure when it first aired) called O.J., Nicole and Ron: Countdown to Murder: ………Somewhere between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. Ron was working out at Gold’s Gym in Brentwood. I can’t find a Gold’s Gym in Brentwood now but there is one in Redondo Beach and another one in Torrance where somebody else we know could have worked out. Anyhow, Eric couldn’t reach Ron at home the first time because Ron was at the gym. …….. At 11:30 Ron was at Starbucks with the guys he usually hung out with there. It’s possible that Eric met up with Ron at Starbucks. ……..I don’t know why Eric wanted “to get moving” that early. The softball game didn’t start until 1:00 p.m. at Barrington Recreation Center in L.A. If E! was right about the times, the only things I can figure are that Ron was supposed to call Eric earlier that morning to go somewhere else or to let Eric know when he could pick him up so Eric could plan his own activities before they met. ………The great thing about softball at a city recreational facility is that you don’t need special equipment to play. Somebody brings the balls. Somebody else brings the bats and the city provides the filed, and sometimes an umpire. All you need is your glove – which you will have if you play regularly. Ron played every Sunday afternoon. All he needed to be ready to go was his glove. ………Just thought of something… It is a good idea to get to the park early to claim your diamond. First come, first served. Maybe it was Eric’s job to claim the diamond and Ron forgot. Also there is a lot of hitting and fielding practice that goes on before the game – which could have been scheduled to start at noon but didn’t get underway until everybody showed up. ………..Still don’t know what the real deal was with those phone calls but all of the variable fit time-wise with the softball game. …………I find it curious that the names Gold, and Lauren Cohen come up but the name “Starbuck’s” and the word “softball” do not. I also wonder if Michael Hahn is related to the L.A. City Attorney James Hahn. Probably not, but we can’t know unless we can check it out. –Jasper
