Mike, …Ron could not have arrived in the middle of an attack on Nicole. The killer came in through the back. Neither Nicole nor the killer would have had a reason or an opportunity to open the gate and Ron would not have been able to get inside the gate unless someone opened it from the inside. …………Fuhrman and OJ have the same problem only if ONE of the victims was a target. If both of them were targets it could not have been a problem for Fuhrman. It would have been part of the plan to make Nicole’s death look like a rage killing. The timing for the killer and his Bundy lookout to get into place would have been based on knowledge that he was SCHEDULED to be there at a specific time. All of those factors clicked into place with Faye Resnick’s call to Nicole a half hour or so before the start of the killings. Faye set up the meeting between Ron and Nicole for that night. She was supposed to be part of it but created an excuse to bail out a week earlier. Faye knew that the earliest Ron could have arrived was 10:00, by which time Nicole would have been home and the kids in bed. The best tentative time for Ron’s arrival was, therefore, 10:30. …………..The attack on Ron and Nicole started a minute or so before 10:35. Faye’s call to Nicole came after Nicole called Ron at the restaurant, which happened to be the time the killer needed to know if Ron was on schedule. The killer’s two knives meant that he came to Bundy prepared to leave wounds consistent with EITHER knife http://smartfellowspress.com/murder_weapons.htm . The small elongated notch near the flat side (top side) of the blade is so the blade can be pulled from the handle with a thumbnail. That’s why I said in a previous post that the killer could not have opened the blade in a flash of mindless rage with gloves on. Here again, he had to have been prepared to use both ends of both knives the way they were used and he had to be thinking about it before he did it. --Jasper
