I got to thinking that the Double Eagle is a term in golf and looked it up. Here is what wiki says, "Double Eagle (or Albatross): a hole played three strokes under par". Apparently, it is rarer than a hole-in-one. Albatross is the British term for Double Eagle. Metaphorically, it is a burden or a punishment on someone. Comes from the Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner and the guy killing an albatross (bird).
