Hi Paddy. "long time no see", lol We missed you. I agree with Jasper about Fred. He has passed the point of grieving outrage that O J Simpson killed his son. Now it is as Jean said about "face time". It is also about "race time". Fred uses words like "killer", "murderer", "butcher", to keep up the facade in his mind that O J is guilty. But I believe after all this time and reading our boards, he is not really sure now. So he might as well get the money. Hate is a strong emotion. It affects you not the person you hate. You no longer have joy in your life. The Goldmans are the ones looking old and haggard and you don't see them smiling or looking happy. Their hate is not affecting O J at all. He looks good for his age and does not look unhappy. ..........It took me so long to type this, I read Rovaan's post and I agree he doesn't want the book to be published because it just might change the public's mind.
