http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandpoint,_Idaho =============== Here's a little about the Aryan Nation and Hayden Lake, etc. I don't believe these weirdos ever "disbanded", they probably just moved to an even more rural area not far away. .... What's interesting is that this area was known as a "retirement haven" for retired and/or former LAPD cops. .... I think Fuhrman writes something about it, but gives his usual spin. I'll have to look in his book to see what all he said. .... I think that some of these Neo-Nazi's were some of LAPD's "finest". And it's interesting that this say's that it was in the 1990's when this whole Aryan Nation/Neo-Nazi/Hayden Lake deal "attracted nationwide publicity". ... No doubt Fuhrman moving there had a lot to do with that nationwide attention. ................... Many Sandpoint residents reacted negatively to such groups; some formed the Bonner County Human Rights Task Force in opposition. In 2001 the Aryan Nations lost a lawsuit filed against them. The lawsuit bankrupted the organization and forced them to give up their Hayden Lake property and disband. ......."
