o.j.nut, that's right no EDTA preserved blood. It seem you don't even know what the defense tried to claim. Let me help you out here. Simpson's attorneys used nurse Peratis's estimates as exact amounts and claimed that blood was missing from Simpson's reference sample. They claimed that was where the Simpson's blood came from that was found at Bundy. It was a dumb claim that only ignorant people fell for. All of Simpson's blood was seen and collected before Simpson even gave his blood sample. There was no missing blood from Simpson's reference sample only incorrect estimates by the nurse. Tests were performed on the gate stain and a sock stain to see of they contained EDTA preserved blood. If that blood had been planted from Simpson's reference sample or Nicole's autopsy sample the stains would contain EDTA preserved blood. No EDTA preserved blood was ever found in any of those samples. There was a slight indication of EDTA found in those stains but the same slight indication was also found in a sample of Martz's own blood that he tested with the other two stains. Martz attributed that to contamination in the machine he used for the testing. When Martz compared the gate blood and sock blood to Simpson's reference sample and Nicole's autopsy sample the results were very clear. ***MR. MARTZ: Yes. There was a very clear comparison. My blood that was preserved and Mr. Simpson and Mrs. Simpson's bloods that were preserved all contained a large amount of EDTA and my blood that was not preserved and the stain from the gate and the sock all showed indications of the 160 ion, but in none of those cases was I able to identify EDTA.*** "If the blood on the rear gate and the socks had come from the preserved tube, the EDTA indicators would have been just as high. Instead they're about a hundredth the size."***MR. MARTZ: The two blood samples, K67 and K68, which I prepared and placed on the sock and a cotton swatch, clearly demonstrate that EDTA is present in these samples. This is the amount that we would want to find in the sock and on the gate if we were to say that it came from preserved blood. But as you can see, the sock and the gate gave a very minimal response for this particular ion of EDTA. In my opinion, EDTA from preserved blood is not present on the sock and the gate. These stains did not come from preserved blood.*** Crime scene photographs later shown in court supported Martz's conclusions proving the gate blood wasn't planted. Dr. Cotton testified that test results showed that the Nicole's blood on Simpson's socks was less degraded than blood in her autopsy samples proving it could not have been planted from her autopsy sample. No one saw Simpson's cut because he was smart enough to keep it out of sight until he recut his finger and made sure every one saw it then. Simpson told the police he was bleeding before he left for Chicago. Simpson told the police that his finger was cut before and he recut it in Chicago. Simpson said that if his blood was at Rockingham it was because he dripped it there. If you can't understand Simpson's words or the fact that his blood was found at Bundy, in his Bronco mixed with both victims blood, and at Rockingham, then you have a serious problem comprehending english. Maybe that's why you believe in so many dumb fantasies. bobaugust
