You are incredibly naive on this subject......It works this way, Misc:......Some people make great footb all players, and some make great witnesses ..... Most of us would not make great football layers; OJ did....Most of us would make good witnesses.......OJ would not....The prin ciple is the same......According to :\"an A merican Tragedy" by Schiller and Willwerth, Oj conistently wanted to testify at his criminal trial. His lawyers set up- a mock testmony session and discovered he would make avery bad w2itness, and so didn't wnt h8im to tesitify....What finally decided it of OJ was that the trial went on so long that they were down to their last alternate juror. that is, if two more jurors were excluded, there would have been a mnistrial and the whole thing would not only start at zero, but would be delayed for two years....OJ was told that if he went on the stnad, his testimony might take months, and they would then run through those lat two jurors.
