Buster, …Not counting Mike Brambles (the LAPD cop handling Madam Alex for Daryl Gates who was jailed before the murders) Fuhrman had at least three “doubles.” ………Brambles’ face and mannerisms were so much like Fuhrman’s that if you saw Fuhrman’s head in a vehicle that was traced to Brambles you would almost certainly identify him as Brambles. But Fuhrman was much taller than Brambles, they had different body types and from a distance they would be easy to tell apart. ……….On the other hand, Marcus Allen at 6’3” or 6’4” was as tall as Fuhrman (at 6’ 3”) or a little taller and they had the same body type. That’s who Fuhrman reminded Kathleen Bell of when she first saw him and what caused him to go ballistic when she made the comparison and told him what it meant to her. ………..At 6’ 2”, Ron Shipp and O.J., with the same body type as Fuhrman and the same shoe size, could have double for each other in some circumstances. Key points with J. Neil Schulman in identifying Shipp as the killer were his height, body type and shoe size. The shoe size combined with the stride of the Bundy shoeprints showing that the killer was over 6’ tall limited the pool of suspects dramatically. That’s why neither the prosecution nor the defense made a point of the fact that the toes of the shoeprints pointed straight ahead. With gloves, a dark stocking mask and a cap a person seeing Fuhrman at a distance getting in or out of a light-colored SUV could have later thought he saw O.J. …………Fuhrman was not a celebrity on the night of June 12, 1994. Anyone could have doubled for him in Pomona. They didn’t even have to look anything alike.
