Solitairea1, …This is another valuable piece of information. It appears that she is trying here to have a picture drawn of the “Dial soap” man or to reinforce the idea that she saw him whether she did or not. The important thing to us is that she could not draw that picture herself. That means she could not have drawn and rendered the flower on her poem. Her apparent lack of curiosity about it suggests to me that she knew who did it. Her failure to seek that person’s help suggests that they were either out of touch or she was trying to distance herself form the fact that she knew him. By August 1997 she certainly knew that Fuhrman was a very good artist. ……….She also gives no hint of being upset about the rendering of the flower obscuring the first word in the first line of here quoted text. This omission together with the “camera ready” quality of the poem leads me to wonder more than ever if the hand that wrote those words so beautifully was hers. –Jasper
