Mario, I found out for certain that you are not able to run a business for profit when in prison. That however doesn't mean that you have to divest yourself of prior holdings which you can delegate to others, like family members to manage in your absence. Pellicano seems to have done at least that as all his kid's businesses, that I've been able to track, appear to have sprung up 2003 +/- 1 year and then there was Pellicano's marriage to Therese DeLucio 2 days prior to his voluntary surrender to begin serving his time. There also was that one liner I found in the news that Pellicano's sentencing judge, Judge Dickran M. Tevrizian Jr., on January 23, 2004 rejected the pleas that Pellicano was broke and fined him a whopping $6,000. I have to look into these financial affairs somewhat more closely.
