Anon, I'm really glad that you've found a regimen that works for you. Individual responses even to what are considered the gold standard in meds are all over the map. You can't possibly even think when your pain is at an eight. Hearing someone's response like yours to what modern pharmaceuticals are capable of is one of the most important reasons I want to be able to practice medicine already. I so missing that joy of watching another person regain their life. My pain has only been nearly that bad during flares. I've just had some other complications like annoying recurrent infections and inflammatory lesions in my lungs for which if I don't take the appropriate drugs I get pretty sick. It's given a perspective though I didn't really have before, what it feels like to live with a chronic illness in the first person. It's amazingly humbling....Nomi
